Posjetih pizzeriju Roko u Opatiji. Povod je bio tatin rođendan :)
Činjenica da je uvrštena među najbolje pizzerije na području Primorja bio je jedan jako dobar razlog za odlazak tamo. To, ali i mnogobrojne preporuke naših prijatelja i poznanika.
Ambijent pravo primorski. Malo imitacije opeke, malo drva, malo starinskih lampiona, slika i bešteka, simpatičan meni. Ugodna muzika i jako jako ljubazni konobari. Zgodan detalj mi je kuhinja koja je zatvorena staklima kako dim ne bi smetao, ali se ipak jasno vidi kako spremaju razna jela :)
Ne bih rekla da su klasična pizzerija & spaghetterija. Bilo je tu i zanimljivih predjela i mesnih jela. U biti kad sam dobila meni u ruke nisam imala pojma što odabrati jer mi je sve zvučalo ukusno. Kasnije se pokazalo da se u biti s ničim ne može pogriješiti jer sve što izađe iz kuhinje je fenomenalno.
Oduševila me i kratka, ali dostatna vinska karta.
p.s. Fotografije i nisu neke kvalitete. Fotkano je s mobitelom, a unutra je ipak bilo pretamno da bi kamera sve detalje i boje jasno uhvatila, ali se ipak nadam da ćete dobiti dojam kako izgleda.

I visited Pizzeria Roko in Opatija. The occasion was my dad's birthday :)
The fact that it's listed among the best pizzerias in the coastal area was one very good reason for going there. This, and many recommendations of our friends and acquaintances.
The ambiance is a coastal. Little bit of brick imitation, some wood, a little old-fashioned lanterns, pictures and vintage forks, nice menu. Pleasant music and very very friendly waiters. Nice touch is kitchen closed with glass windows so smoke doesn't get in the way, but you can still see how they're preparing dishes :)
I won't say that's classic pizza & spaghetti place. There were also interesting appetizers and meat dishes. In fact, when I received menu I had no idea what to choose cause everything sounded delicious. Later it turned out you can't go wrong because everything that comes out of the kitchen is awesome.
I was also delighted with short but adequate wine list.
p.s. Photos are of bad quality. They were taken with a mobile phone, and there was still too dark for camera to caught all the details and colors clearly. But still I hope that you'll get the feeling of how it looks.

Ovo je bilo moje glavno jelo i nečem toliko dobrom se zbilja nisam nadala :)

Glavno jelo - Pašta Rustica u umaku mozzarelle s tikvicom, patlidžanom i pomidorom
Main dish - Pasta Rustica in sauce of mozzarella with zucchini, eggplant and tomato
Desert - Tiramisu u čaši
Dessert - Tiramisu in glass
Desert - Mousse od tamne i bijele čokolade
Dessert - Mousse from dark and white chocolate
Desert - Panna cotta s Nutellom
Dessert - Panna cotta with Nutella
Mislim da panna cotta ide najbolje sa preljevom od šumskog voća, ali kako brat obožava Nutellu onda je to bio i njegov izbor.
I think panna cotta goes better with a forest fruit sauce, but my brother loves Nutella so this was his choice.
