Pitching Rijeka

Jedna zanimljiva predstava koju sam gledala je "Pitching Rijeka", autorski projekt Mile Čuljak, produkcija Dramskog učilišta ZIM. Kreće se od HNK "Ivan pl. Zajc" do Molo longa. U stvaranju predstave bili su uključeni i sami izvođači tako da su se orili razni simpatični uzvici poput: "Ja želim biti činčila!", "Ja želim veće sise!", "Ne želim ništa!". Također smo na kraju, mi gledatelji, dobili papirnate brodiće koje smo nakon zaželjene želje bacili na more i time okončali predstavu zajedno sa izvođačima. Nekako je tim činom pokazana ta duboka povezanost Riječana s morem. Predivan prizor za kraj.

Glasom kao povjerenjem.

Kao zvukom koji predaje glazbu.

Kao glazbom koja daje smjer.

Glasom kao veličini zajedništva, kao prijenosnikom.

Glasom kao apostrofom i tišinom, zajedništvom koje se glasa.

Mladošću koja stasa, u željama."

The other day I watched one interesting show "Pitching River" project by Mila Čuljak, production by drama college ZIM. The show was held  from HNK "Ivan pl. Zajc" to Molo longo. In creation of the show were also involved performers so during the show you could hear various exclamations like: "I want to be a chinchilla", "I want bigger boobs", "I want nothing". At the end we got the paper boats  from actors and after desired wishes we thrown them to the sea, and thus ended the show along with the performers. Somehow this act shown this deep connection between Rijeka citizens and the sea. A beautiful ending.

"'Pitching Rijeka' deals with voice and audibility.

Voice as confidence.

As a sound that teaches music.

As a music that gives direction.

Voice as the size of community, as well as gear.

Voice as an apostrophe and tranquility, togetherness.

Youth that stature, in wishes. "

Black&White Sugar / Outfit

Došli su neki siviji trenuci u životu. Ali prihvatiš stvari da su takve i ideš dalje. S pozitivnim mislima u glavi. U biti se iznenadiš kako sve ima svoje razloge, svi događaju su tu da se iz njih nauči, i sve što nam treba kad-tad dođe do nas.

Za još dodatne pozitive treba se i zasladiti s nečime. Krema u čaši je hit još iz djetinjstva, a jedino mjesto u gradu koje ga nudi je Mystique klub. Čokoladni mousse s nabacanim svježim jagodama sam sama radila :)

A ono što me još dodatno može razveseliti je nova odjeća. I upravo me time moja kuma iz Njemačke iznenadila prilikom svog posjeta. Donijela mi je dvije pune vreće odjeće i sve mi se sviđa. Tako da mislim da sa daljnjim šopingiranjem trebam stati jer mi ormari pucaju po šavovima :)

Sad moments in life knocked on my door. But you have to accept the fact that it's just the way it is and move on. With positive thoughts in head. In fact it surprises me that everything has its reasons, all events are there to learn from them, and what we need sooner or later come to us.

For even more positivity there must be something sweet around me. "Cream in the glass" is hit ever since my childhood, and newely opened Mystique club is the only place in town offering it. Chocolate mousse with tossed fresh strawberries was done by my magical hands :)

And what makes me even more cheerful is the new clothes. My godmother from Germany surprised me during her visit. She brought to me two bags full of clothes and everything is wonderful. So I think I'm stopping further shopping cause my closets are bursting at the seams :)

Bistro La Rose

U Starome gradu u Rijeci nalazi se simpatičan restorančić tj. bistro damskog imena "La Rose". Nude domaću mediteransku i francusku kuhinju po prihvatljivim cijenama sa bogatom vinskom ponudom. Povodom rođendana mog dragog otišli smo na slavljenički ručak. Taman se poklopilo da su u to vrijeme organizirali predstavljanje dva posebna francuska menija, jedan riblji i jedan mesni, a svaki se sastojao od tri slijeda. Što smo jeli vidjet ćete na fotkama :)

Predivan "shabby chic" ambijent, mješavina soula, jazza, blousea ili francuske pop muzike koja topi zvučnike, božanstvena hrana i vrlo ljubazni konobari garancija su opuštajućeg i romantičnog ručka, večere ili neke proslave. 

Tih par sati provedenih tamo na trenutak sam zaboravila sve uobičajene stvarčice i opustila se maksimalno.

I ovo mi nije prvi, a bome niti posljednji put da dolazim u La Rose. Bit će još ovako predivno provedenih trenutaka.

In Stari grad in Rijeka is a nice little restaurant or bistro with very ladylike name "La Rose". They offer traditional Mediterranean and French cuisine at reasonable prices with a rich wine card. My dear had a birthday so we went on a celebration lunch. At that time they organized a presentation of two special French menu, one fish and one meat, each consisting of three courses. You'll see in photos what we ate :)

Beautiful "shabby chic" atmosphere, a mixture of soul, jazz, blouse or French pop music "melts" speakers, divine food and very friendly waiters guarantee a relaxing and romantic lunch, dinner or a party.

Those few hours spent there I forgot for a moment all the usual stuff and relaxed maximum.

And this isn't my first nor my last time that I come to La Rose. There will be definitely more beautiful moments like this one.

Met Gala 2013.

Ovogodišnja tema Met Gala eventa, koji okuplja brojne zvijezde, je bila "Punk: Chaos to Couture". Cilj je bio istaknuti podrijetlo punk pokreta i povući izravnu vezu s haute couture i ready-to-wear kreacijama koje je punk inspirirao u protekla tri desetljeća. Izložba će obuhvatiti stajlinge Azzedine Alaia, Ann Demeulemeester, Dolce & Gabbanu, Marca Jacobsa, Rei Kawakubo, Alexandera McQueena, Alexander Wanga i Rodartea. Show će pokazati podrijetlo punk dizajna od ranih 1970-ih do sredine 1970-ih u ​New Yorku i Londonu te pratiti utjecaj punk stajlinga tijekom desetljeća.

Uz ovakvu temu izložbe bilo je i za očekivati da će zvijezde i zvijezdice prigrliti punk đir i na otvorenju se pojaviti u raznim punkerskim i rockerskim kreacijama. Kako i običava - neki su pogodili "u sridu", a neki su promašili metu.

This year's theme Met Gala event, which brings together a number of stars, was "Punk: Chaos to Couture". The aim was to highlight the origin of the punk movement and draw a direct connection with haute couture and ready-to-wear creations inspired by the punk in the past three decades. The exhibition will include styling Azzedine Alaia, Ann Demeulemeester, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Rei Kawakubo, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang and Rodarte. The show will show the origins of punk designs from the early 1970s until the mid-1970s in New York and London, and monitor the impact of punk stylings over the decades.

With this theme of the exhibition it was expected that the stars would embrace punk and go for a various punk and rock star creations. As usual - some did awsome job while others failed.
